    Background
    Bell Pest Control is a family owned company that has been serving its customers in the Northern California area since 1978. It was started by Dale Bell at the age of 20, and continues to remain family-owned and operated under his direct supervision. Dale Bell has long appreciated the efforts of honest and up-front sales practices in order to steadily grow his company and better serve the community in which it operates.

    Opportunity
    The summer of 2010 will begin the fourth consecutive year since Bell Pest Control has successfully implemented a summer sales team and is currently looking for qualified, hard-working team members to continue to build upon the past four years of growth. Due to the recent success of last year’s sales teams, Bell has a select number of leadership and management positions available as well for team members that consistently go above and beyond. All team members whom desire to be considered must display a high level of commitment to integrity and dependability above all other characteristics. Every representative of Bell is a direct extension of years of hard work to build a brand and family name that people can trust. You will be given all the tools and training necessary to make sales in a manner that reflects this trust and continues to add value to the customer, the company, and yourself. A sale that is not a win-win-win in this manner is not what Bell is looking for.

    Support
    In direct selling, there is no substitute for ample and meaningful training. In addition to regular training meetings, Bell reps will be provided sales packets, training DVD’s, one-on-one practices with feedback from industry leaders, and a variety of other learning tools to ensure their success. Committed Bell reps will be given the opportunity to travel to Northern California in the pre-season for additional training and receive certifications for advanced earning opportunities. During the selling season, Bell actively invests into commercials and radio spots that specifically advertise its exclusive door-to-door promotions so that more people recognize who you are and what you have to offer right after they open the door transitioning a potentially high pressure sale into a pleasant surprise from a ready customer.



    Bell utilizes a progressive pay scale that allows reps to receive approximately 80 percent of their commissions up-front with all bonuses and remaining earnings paid out before the year’s end. Services are sold on a one year basis and typically have an average contract value of $525 from which commissions are drawn. Bell Pest Control takes much of the risk of summer sales away by providing $2500 per month to each sales representative who works the daily schedule.

    2009 Numbers
    Out of the eight first-year reps hired for the summer of 2009, six remained until the very last day of the selling season. Out of the six first-year reps, three are returning to become team leaders or sell as experienced reps. The lowest sales commission received by a team member was just over $5,000, and that team member had to leave early. The highest sales commission received by a team member was approximately $100,000. Bell caps the number of first year reps hired each year so that sufficient leadership can be provided to new team members. The earning possibilities are directly tied to the desire, dedication and commitment to work hard. If you dedicate yourself to the program, then the earning potential is endless.
