OUR COMPANY
AMI has been working in the waste industry for over 7 years helping garbage companies grow their residential business faster and more economical than any other means possible within the subscription market. Our experience has ranged from working with the largest waste company in the world, to helping start a new company from the ground up. Our comprehension of the industry allows us to find the best opportunities available for our teams to work and be successful.
THE SALE
What makes AMI different from all the other summer choices? Our people spend their summer saving people money on a service they must have, and already use. Everyone needs their garbage disposed of each week; you are simply saving people money on that service. Our sales reps enjoy the 10 minutes or less to educate the people and help them through the sign-up process. Most people are usually excited when they find out you are interested in helping them save money without compromising service.
MENTAL HEALTH
What is the most difficult part of any summer job? Rejection. At AMI, we offer you the least amount of rejection in the summer sales industry, allowing for maximum fun-factor from your summer experience. Summer Sales is so much more enjoyable when you have people saying YES to you all day long. The record for sales in a single day is 42, with the payout per sale ranging from $20 to $40 per sale. Best of all, everyone wins when you make a sale. The customer saves money, you earn money, and the client grows its business. You can sleep well every night with a clear conscience when you sell people 'garbage'.
WHAT TO EXPECT AS A 1ST YEAR SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Our teams consist of a manager and 4 to 10 Sales Reps depending upon the area. AMI is committed to smaller teams to allow enough area for each member to reach their financial goals. Correlation/training meetings are held each day to allow learning under a team dynamic. Due to smaller teams, the manger can also spend quality one-on-one time with each sales rep on the doors to help ensure their success. The number of sales made each day usually ranges from 5 to 12, with 7 being the average for a 1st year rep. Reaching this level will pay out $20,000 for a summers effort.
CONTACT US
One reason why our retention is so high each summer is that even those with limited sales skills can still find a way to convince someone to save money on a service they already use. If you are unsure of how well you will do at summer sales, or want to try spending the summer enjoying what you do, contact us for more information. Spend the summer with other college students working hard to earn enough to pay for your education. Work hard enough during the summer and a part-time job during the school year becomes optional...more time to study and play!
